Enigman Calm

Excuuuuuuse me? This thing does what? Enigman Calm is probably one of the best cards Dimension Police has ever gotten in… forever. It’s an actual +1. It’s a living, breathing, legitimately existing +1. There’s no initial stride that flips a card in your G-Zone while also having the Burst keyword, but you have the X-gallop option on your second stride onwards. If your Vanguard happens to be at 45000, you essentially paid a soul blast just to fish a perfect guard back to your hand.  That’s great cost efficiency, in my opinion. Not like Dimension Police knows what a Counter Blast is unless you decided to go crazy with some card effects.

And the best part is: this guy carries the Enigman name; giving the Enigman deck a much-needed perfect guard. It’s essentially the greatest search target for Enigman Cloud now, who needed something worth a damn to search for (beyond Enigman Nightsky). Definitely one of the greatest reveals on this poster!

Dimensional Robo, Dailesson(?)

This card. It just wants to become big. Which is kinda cool. Dailesson can be recruited by Daiearth, while getting a total of +4000 power just for having a Daikaiser/Daiyusha as your Vanguard as well as flipping a Daiearth over in your G-Zone. Casual 13000 rear guard, set to become a 15000 once it lives past the next turn.

Hell, it could even be a 17000 power rear guard if you are using the Daikaiser/Great Daiyusha legion while 2 Daiearth are face-up in the G-Zone. Pretty stronk, I like to think. DP’s other builds (read: barring X-gallop) never really have big rear guards; often leaving the Vanguard to do all the heavy lifting. That’s what makes Dailesson a really cool card. I hope they give D-Robo more cool things to work with!

[AUTO](VC/RC) Oracle (This ability is active when you have five or more cards in your hand):[Soul Blast (1)] When this unit's attack hits a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, look at five cards from the top of your deck, search for up to one card with the oracle ability from among them, reveal it, put it into your hand, and shuffle your deck.

Goddess of the Prophet, Yasaka

Y’know, I want to take a steaming shit all over this card, but that’s because OTT generally sucks most of the time. Although, admittedly, it sucks less by virtue of being on-hit as opposed to an on-attack ability. It triggers after your drive checks are cleared and all. Problem is, Oracle Think Tank doesn’t push for shield worth a damn. And if you do find your way to doing so, you’re doing all that work for a wash (and maybe the counter charge + soul charge). Hokay yeah, card just sucks. Please. Someone. Anyone. Save this clan.

Goddess of the Eternal Sun, Amaterasu(?)

I dunno how to say it, but Amaterasu isn’t good by any stretch of the imagination. The scry is cool, it makes it so you can choose to either take the next attack (damage trigger), or guard harder (put the card at the bottom). Scrying on the opponent’s turn is cool for Magus.

… yeah that’s all I got for that.

The 4+ restriction is cool because it’s “kinda” minimal. What I mean is, you can at least still guard post-Oracle. Well, assuming you had only 5 in hand… you’d need to toss the heal and drop Amaterasu first. Which is kinda lame, you see. In more sensible decks like Tsukuyomi or Battle Sister, this probably wouldn’t matter as much, but the card is otherwise fairly limited. It looks like a meaningless restriction until you put the brain to work, you see.

Yeah uh… Oracle Think Tank still isn’t looking very good. Abandon ship.

Traveling Momonga

Y’know, this card would be pretty damn stronk if it weren’t for the fact that Bigbelly is still a really awful card. Sad to say, but that’s the truth. Hopefully the big man gets a better stride to work with, or outright gets a new Grade 3 to fix its problems.

Otherwise? This card’s ability to tutor things on death is nice. You can pick up more Crayon Tigers, pick up another Grade 3 for later. It’s all cool stuff. Not sure if you could fit it, but hey. If it works, it works.

[AUTO](RC)[1/Turn]:When this unit attacks a vanguard, if you have a vanguard with "Honorary Professor" in its card name, choose up to one of your other rear-guards in the same column as this unit, until end of turn, it gets [Power]+4000, and "[AUTO](RC):At the end of turn, draw a card, and retire this unit.".

Treatis Panther

Panther is kinda… alright? I’m not sure what to say. They 1/Turn’d it so you couldn’t Crayon Tiger this thing, which kinda hurts its playability to me. It has some “early game” application (read: just swing with it and give a rear guard the death sentence) so long as you ride Chatnoir. And still has applications while striding. Problem is… uh… yeah, the Crayon Tiger shindig. It sorta triggers me, mate. It only touches what’s in the same row, so that’s a bit of a problem on its own. Had it messed with your column too, I would’ve had no qualms since you could pump the unit behind him and then Crayon Tiger him and still keep going. I guess this is supposed to be a “in-theme” Crayon Tiger that lost the “Stand a rear guard” part just because it lacks GenBreak1?

I think you can live without the card, but I guess I’ll wait and see. I’m not very enthused with this card, tho.

Well, that’s all of them! Some of these reveals were pretty disappointing, but Enigman Calm is the best thing they revealed. It’s borderline busted, even. I think I have to wait for the rest of the set to roll out before I can completely give up hope on Oracle Think Tank. No, seriously, someone save them.

See you.
