…and the first day back on the job, it’s but another awful card for Oracle Think Tank.

Requires the magic number of 5 cards in your hand, at an arguably terrible time (meaning you need a minimum of 6 cards in hand to activate this card), and also happens to be a pretty eh-to-meh trigger for Oracle Think Tank, a clan that has preferred critical triggers far more. As of Wakahirume, a stand trigger may or may not be as terrible, but then you realize there’s nothing meshing the card together with this particular Stand Trigger. You need to play it and retire it, so you can’t Wakahirume it back to the top of the deck. You’d have to run more than one copy of Ouka. Ouka. A terrible card. In a trigger type that’s already arguably hard to feel like you could want.
Then there’s the bonus ability it applies: turning anything into another copy of Silent Tom. and that’s it. You take a -1 just to get that ability. w e w. If that’s not a hard nerf on itself, I dunno what is. And reminder, Silent Tom abilities don’t matter unless that unit can attack more than once. Which is alright here since running Stands does the thing, but that also requires hitting a stand trigger. The clan can manipulate stuff, but it sure can’t manipulate having the perfect set up in every perfect situation.
Oracle Think Tank is already off to a bad start. Hats off to Bushiroad for accomplishing this.
Meanwhile, surely you’re aware, but Pokemon Reborn has released its 16th episode. You should totally check it out if you’re gonna be bored of this set. Just sign up/register to the forum, and check out this thread. Episode 16 is just a community release, at the moment. If you just want to play through the first 15 episodes while waiting for the public release, you should totally do that too. I’m not gonna try over-selling the game or anything, but I highly recommend it!
